Make sure you know what you are getting before you pay. You should have a website layout and design agreed upon before any transaction has taken place. Make sure that the fee includes the coded design and that you will receive a copy of all files. If you are purchasing a flash site and you receive a .swf file but not a .fla file, then you will not be able to modify your site in the future.
