Choosing The Best Hosting Plan For Your Website
Reputable hosting providers include Network Solutions, Godaddy and 1and1 to name a few. When you set your account up it is good not to give out administrator information to others. Even your website developer will only need an FTP account added to your hosting account to do all that they need to help you.

Some Things To Consider
The fees for hosting services will vary depending on what you need for your website. Below are several questions that you may want to consider before choosing a hosting plan for your website.
How much space do you need?
A basic business website will average about 20 pages and a small space is going to be enough. As a point of reference 150 GB is a comfortable disk space for a desktop computer to sit on. If you think of a large file like a Disney movie (90 min film) that may be about 5GB, then I could store 30 movies on a 150 GB hosting plan.
How much bandwidth will you use?
Do you have a basic business website, but tens of thousands of people visit your website daily? If so, then you will need a large or unlimited bandwidth to handle that much traffic to your website. Do you have a large website (1+ GB) and thousands of people visit your site on a daily basis? If so, then I would also recommend a large or unlimited bandwidth.
How many e-mail accounts do you want?
Do you need SSL Certificate (secure login/e-commerce)?
Will you need databases (e-commerce/forum/blog)?
Still unsure about what hosting plan is best for your website? If you are still unsure about what size you want, then remember it is easy to start small because there is no hosting company in the world that wouldn’t be happy to upgrade you later.
